PowerEsim- 一个免费在线开关电源(SMPS)、电路及变压器的设计、运算、仿真软件,拥有过百个使用真实变压器之电路及拓朴。

它提供一个虚拟实验室的环境,让用户设定变压器内每一个线圈的绕法。用户亦可在资料库内,按选过万件在市场上的零件来完成线路。伺服器会在毫秒间完成计算并传回结果。相比在真实环境下修改原型,所需的时间更短,亦不需担心会炸机。它比真更好。

它是"结果导向设计",用户能在不需要专门知识的情况之下,短时间内设计出高质素的设计。另一方面,专家们亦可用PowerEsim进行优化,提升设计的效能或使设计在同样的性能下降低成本。它不但可以削减设计前期需要的时间,亦可作审批设计的好工具。

使用这个工具不需要抽象的概念或理论,和真实世界一样,变压器就是把绕线放在磁芯上,而不需懂马克士威方程组,同样地,设计者不需懂半导体物理来更换一个场效电晶体。

在实验室中,工程师们能感受热能、测量电压,绕出真实的变压器或测试失效的时间。在PowerEsim的虚拟环境中,用户可透过温度分析、失效率分析、波形分析、设计测试等工具作天衣无缝的配合,在虚拟中以对设计进行各方面的测试。
