4 Project Management Back to top
 1 YouTube
For managing multiple power supplies, the Project Management Page can allow you to manage the whole project.

4.1 What is Project Management ? Back to top
For managing multiple power supplies, the Project Management Page can allow you to manage the whole project.

4.2 How to start the Project Management Page Back to top
You can go to the Project Management Page by clicking "My PS System"

4.3 Introduction about interface of Project Management Page Back to top

4.4 Add Power Supply to Project Back to top
Click "Add"¡£

A small window will pop up.

There are two ways to add power supply:

- Load from file

- Add new power supply

The [Add Topologya] list box contains a list of topology. After selecting one topology, a new power supply is added

4.5 Save / Delete / Naming / Change Power Supply from Project Back to top
Click the "More" button at the power supply you would like to select. A small window will pop up.

In the small window:
  • "Save" to save this power supply

  • "Delete" to delete this power supply

  • "Naming" to name this power supply

  • "Select Topology" to select another power supply to replace the current one

  • 4.6 Analysis the whole project by PowerEsim's tools Back to top
If users want to analyse the whole project with PowerEsim's tools, the tools must be entered from project view.

In the top bar of each tools, power supplies included in the whole project will be listed. Click them to view the result of each power supply.

4.6.1 Loss Analysis under project management status Back to top
Shows the total losses for whole project and the loss for each power supply.

4.6.2 DVT Report under project management status Back to top
Shows the number of reject and warning messages for the whole project and each power supply.

4.6.3 MTBF Analysis under project management status Back to top
Shows the total failure rate, MTBF and Life Time for the whole project.

4.6.4 Input Harmonic under project management status Back to top
Shows the simulated result for each power supply.

4.6.5 BOM & Vendor under project management status Back to top
Shows the number of parts at BOM for the whole project and each power supply.

4.6.6 Add Component under project management status Back to top
Shows the number of components added separately for the whole project and each power supply.

4.7 Switch between Power Supplies Back to top
In power supply view, the project summary can be viewed at the top. Project summary provides a link to all the power supplies. Pressing the link (the name of the power supply e.g. "2) Flyback DC-DC") can switch to another power supply. The sign *** indicates which of the power supply of the schematics is currently showing.

4.8 Select Power Supply Back to top
Clicking the circuit allows the user to select the power supply and switch to power supply view.
